  • 500 g (1 pound) of ready asparagus
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 lemon, in quarters

  • Preheat oven at 450°F (230°C).
  • Place the asparagus on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper and mix well. Spread the asparagus and salt.
  • Put in the oven and cook for about 10 minutes (turning them halfway through cooking for more uniform cooking), or until the asparagus is tender (but still firm) and well colored.
  • Serve immediately and drizzle with freshly squeezed lemon juice or balsamic vinegar.
