Ingredients
  • 750 g (1 1/2 pound) of chopped beef
  • 1/2 package of 250 g (2 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of fresh finely chopped parsley
  • 4 finely chopped garlic cloves
  • 1/2 finely chopped red pepper
  • 1 finely chopped jalapeno pepper
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of finely chopped coriander leaf
  • 4 finely chopped French shallots
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) of chili sauce
  • 1 lightly whisked egg
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of Worcestershire sauce
  • Few tabasco rops up to tste
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of Cayenne pepper
  • 45 ml (3 tablespoons) of soy or tamari sauce
  • Ground salt and pepper up to taste
  • 6 to 8 hamburger or sesame seeds kaiser breads
Preparation
Side-by-side mode
  • Preheat barbecue at medium heat.
  • In a large bowl, mix and knead all ingredients exept hamburger breads. Divide and make with the mixture 6 to 8 meatballs.
  • On the lightly oiled barbecue grill, bake meatballs for 6 to 8 minutes each side or until meat is well cooked. Roast hamburger breads. Serve meatballs over grilled breads.
