Ingredients
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of butter
  • 1 package of 250 g (4 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of garlic, chopped
  • 1 package of 250 g of cream cheese, melted
  • 75 ml (1/3 cup) of mayonnaise
  • 375 ml (1 1/2 cups) of old cheddar, grated
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) of fresh parsley, chopped
  • 10 precooked bacon slices, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) of panko breadcrumbs
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) of almonds, chopped
Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Cook the leeks and garlic for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from the heat and set aside to cool slightly.
  • In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, mayonnaise, cheddar, parsley, bacon, and the cooked leeks. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour the mixture into a small baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs and almonds.
  • Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the dip. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
