Lobster roll
Ingredients
- 454 g (1 lb) of lobster flesh, cooked
- 1/2 package of 250 g (2 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of olive oil
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) of celery, chopped
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of shallots, chopped
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) of mayonnaise
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, up to taste
- 4 hot-dog buns, up to your choice
- Brown the leeks in olive oil in a pan for a few minutes. Cool the leeks before adding them to the mixture in the next step.
- Coarsely chop the lobster meat. Mix the lobster, leeks, celery, shallot, mayonnaise, and lemon juice in a large bowl and season to taste. Set aside.
- Toast the buns for 2 minutes on each side or until toasted.
- Fill the buns with the lobster mixture.
