Ingredients

  • 4 peeled and grated potatoes
  • 1/3 package of 250g (1 cup) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
  • 100 g (3 1/2 oz) of grated 2 years old aged cheddar
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of flour
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of butter
  • Ground salt and pepper, up to your taste

Preparation

  • Preheat oven at 325°F (160°C).
  • In a bowl, mix potatoes, leeks, cheddar and flour.
  • With your hands, form few nest of about 10 cm (4 inches) of diameter and 2 cm (¾ inch) thick.
  • In an heated pan, at low heat, brown rösti into butter 5 minutes over each sides, until well roasted.
  • Set röstis on a cookie sheet covered with aluminium paper and bake at the center of the oven for 6 to 8 minutes. Serve.
