Ingredients

  • 250 ml (1 cup) of water
  • 250 ml (1 cup) of sugar
  • 450 g (1 pound) of strawberries
  • 250 ml (1 cup) of cooking cream
  • 15 ml (1 c. à soupe) of cornstarch
  • For the fruits :
  • 1 apple
  • 1 banana
  • 1 melon
  • 2 pears
  • 1 bunch of grapes
  • 16 strawberries

Preparation

  • In a casserole, mix water with sugar. Bring to a boil.
  • Add strawberries and cream. Bring again to a boil.
  • In a small bowl, dilute cornstarch in a bit of cold water. Add this mixture to the strawberries preparation.
  • Slice fruits into pieces.
  • Set the strawberries preparation inside a mixer. Mix and pour into a fondue pot.
  • Soak sliced fruits into the strawberries fondue.
