  • 60 ml (4 tablespoons) of butter
  • 45 ml (3 tablespoons) of chopped onions
  • 1/6 package of 250 gr (1/2 cup) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
  • 60 ml (4 tablespoons) of flour
  • 1 liter (4 cups) of homemade or commercial fish broth
  • Salt and pepper up to taste
  • 250 ml (1 cup) of Matane or nordic whole or chopped shrimps
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) of cooking cream

  • In a pan, heat butter and simmer vegetables for 2 minutes. Add flour and mix well. Add fish broth and season. Bring to a boil while stirring continuously. Simmer 15 minutes at medium heat. Add shrimps and cream, then serve right away.
