Tomatoes, red onions, cheese and spices focaccia
Ingredients
- 450 g (1 pound) of pizza dough
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of Italian seasonings
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of fenel seeds
- Salt and pepper up to taste
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of olive oil
- 250 ml (1 cup) of grated Mozzarella
- 2 minced Italian tomatoes
- 1 red onion finely slice into rings
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of chopped thyme
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of chopped oregano
- 1 chopped garlic clove
- 80 ml (1/3 cup) of grated Parmesan
- Preheat oven at 400°F (205°C).
- In a bowl, mix pizza dough with Italian seasonings and fenel seeds. Salt and pepper.
- Over a floured work surface, work dough as a square of 20 cm (8 inches). Lay dough over an oiled cooking sheets. brush dough surface with olive oil.
- Garnish dough with Mozzarella, tomatoes, red onion, herbs, garlic and Parmesan.
- Oven bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool down before slicing.
