				Eggs, bacon, leeks and cheddar bread
				
				
				
				
					
					
		
			Ingredients
				
					
						
- 4 kaiser breads, not sliced
 
- 1 minced leek
 
- 6 eggs
 
- 8 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled
 
- 160 ml (2/3 cup) of grated cheddar
 
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of chopped fresh chive (optional)
 
					 
				 
		 
		
			
				
					
						
							
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
 
- Remove the superior part of the bread from a cavity. Remove the crumb, then dice.
 
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the leek for 4 to 5 minutes while stirring.
 
- In a bowl, whip eggs. Add leek, bacon, cheddar, diced crumb, and, if desired, chive. Salt and pepper.
 
- Lay the bread on a cooking sheet covered with parchment paper. Divide the egg mixture into the bread cavity. Bake in the oven for 28 to 30 minutes, until the eggs take form.
