Ingredients

  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of olive oil
  • 1 roughly chopped large onion
  • 1/2 package of 250 gr (1½ cup) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
  • 2 chopped carrots
  • 2 chopped celery branches
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1,5 liter (6 cups) of chicken broth
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1 pinch of rosemary
  • 2 ml (1/4 teaspoon) of thyme
  • 500 ml (2 cups) of eggs noodles
  • White or brown cooked chicken chunks
  • 62,5 ml (1/4 cup) of finely chopped fresh parsley; or 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of dried parsley

Preparation

  • Heat olive oil. Add onions, sliced leeks, celery, carrots and garlic. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes and add chicken broth.
  • Finally, add Bay leaf, rosemary, thyme, parsley, eggs noodles and chicken chunks. Simmer for 10 to 20 minutes until vegetables and noodles tenders.
