  • 4 chicken breasts, diced
  • 1 leek cut into thick slices
  • 12 basil leaves
  • 12 small tomatoes
  • 1 baguette, thickly sliced
  • Store-bought pesto
  • Salt and pepper

  • Preheat the oven to 370°F (190°C).
  • Cover a baking plate with parchment paper. Brush paper lightly with olive oil.
  • Season chicken cubes with salt and pepper, then thread onto small skewers, alternating with basil, leeks and tomatoes. Brush with a little pesto. Place the skewers on the baking plate.
  • Brush baguette slices with pesto and place them around skewers. Bake in the oven for about 35 minutes, turning the brochettes as they cook.
