Ingredients

  • 8 bread slices
  • 8 small eggs
  • 1/2 package of 250 g (1 1/2 cup) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
  • 4 finely sliced ham slices
  • 500 ml (2 cups) of grated Cheddar cheese
  • 90 ml (6 tablespoons) of melted butter
  • 90 ml (6 tablespoons) of maple syrup

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix melted butter and maple syrup. Brush bread slices over each side. Set each bread slices in a muffins mold, lightly press with your thumbs to form a cup.
  • Divide sliced leeks and ham into each cup, break an egg over each, salt, pepper and cover with cheese.
  • Oven bake in a preaheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes, unmold and serve.
