Chicken drumsticks with pears and leeks

  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of canola oil
  • 12 chicken drumsticks, without skin
  • 3 pears, peeled and sliced into quarters
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of honey
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of cider vinegar
  • 180 ml (3/4 cup) of apple juice
  • 1 package of 250 gr (3 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
  • Salt and pepper up to taste

  • In a pan, heat oil at medium heat. Brown chicken drumsticks 1 minute over each side. Remove from the pan and set in a plate. Set aside.
  • In the same pan, caramelize pears with honey for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Set back drumsticks in the pan. Add remaining ingredients and simmer uncovered for 18 to 20 minutes, turn drumsticks form time to time.
