  • For the French bread :
  • 3 eggs
  • 180 ml (1/3 cup) of milk
  • 60 ml (¼ cup) of brown sugar
  • 45 ml (3 tablespoons) of orange juice
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of orange zests
  • 8 bread slices
  • For the orange cream :
  • 180 ml (¾ cup) of fresh cream
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of icing sugar
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of orange juice
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of orange zests
  • For garnishing :
  • Small fruits up to your choice

Preparation

  • Preheat a waffle iron based over manufacturer's indications.
  • In a bowl, whisk eggs with milk, brown sugar, juice and orange zests.
  • Set bread slices into the preparation and let soak a few seconds. Drain.
  • Cook bread slices into the waffle iron for about 3 minute.
  • Mix fresh cream with icing sugar, juice and orange zests. Serve with bread and fruits of your choice.
