  • 6 chopped bacon slices
  • 1 package of 250 gr (3 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
  • Salt and pepper
  • 45 ml (3 tablespoons) of butter
  • 6 bread slices
  • 6 eggs

Preparation

  • Preheat oven at 400°F (200°C). In a pan, brown bacon for 2 minutes. Add leeks and brown for 2 minutes, salt, pepper and set aside.
  • Butter bread slices on both sides. With a cookie cutter, cut large circle in the middle of bread slices. Keep centers.
  • Lay bread slices and bread centers over a large baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Break an egg in each hole. Season with salt and pepper. Oven bake for 6 to 7 minutes.
  • Divide sliced leeks and bacon mixture into 6 plates. Set into each plates a bread slice and an egg in its center. Serve hot.
