Fruity cups of greek yogurt, chocolate and pistachios

  • 12 to 14 strawberries
  • 60 ml (¼ cup) of maple syrup
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of brown rum or citrus liquor (like Grand Marnier)
  • 90 g of 70% black chocolate
  • 500 ml (2 cups) of 0% M.G. strawberries flavored greek yogurt (like Laberté)
  • 80 ml (1/3 cup) of roughly chopped pistachios or sliced almonds

  • In a deep plate, roughly crush half the strawberries with a fork. Add maple syrup and rum. Divide the preparation into four dessert cups.
  • Dice remaining strawberries. Set aside.
  • Melt chocolate in the micro-wave for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • In a bowl, set yogurt and pour melted chocolate by stirring lightly. Do not stir too much.
  • Divide right away the mix of yogurt and chocolate in the cups. Garnish with diced strawberries and pistachios.
