  • 1 package of 250 g (3 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
  • 45 ml (3 tablespoons) of flour
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of butter
  • 5 cups of water
  • 85 ml (1/3 cup) of bovril beef concentrate
  • 1 bag of onion soup
  • Thyme, salt and pepper up to taste

  • In a casserole, melt butter and brown sliced leeks. Add flour, mix well.
  • Add water, bovril and onion soup.
  • Let simmer slowly.
  • Add thyme, salt and pepper.
  • Continue cooking till times to serves. Check out the seasonings up to your taste.

Chef's notes

This broth may be also use in gratin onion soup or can also be frozen.
