Breaded asparagus with goat cheese

  • 1½ pound of big tailed asparagus
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of melted butter
  • Salt, up to taste
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) of fresh crumbled goat cheese
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) of white bread crumbs

  • Preheat oven at 400 °F (200 °C).
  • Cover stems of one tablespoon of melted butter. Salt lightly. Display asparagus in a casserole large enough to make one layer only.
  • Set down goat cheese over asparagus and sprinkle bread crumbs. Spray with the second tablespoon of melted butter. Oven bake for about 10 minutes or till bread crumbs roast lightly.
