Ingredients

  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of vegetable oil
  • 1 chopped white onion
  • 1 package of 250 gr (3 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
  • 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
  • 2 chopped celery branches
  • 2 sliced carrots
  • 500 ml (2 cups) of broccoli florets
  • 1 can (540 ml) of tomatoes of 19 oz
  • 1 liter
  • (4 cups) of beef tortellinis
  • 10 ml (2 teaspoons) of thyme
  • 10 ml (2 teaspoons) of oregano
  • 10 ml (2 teaspoons) of basil
  • Salt and pepper up to taste

Preparation

  • In a large casserole, heat oil and fry onion, sliced leeks, garlic, celery, carrots, broccoli for 3 to 5 minutes while stirring. Add seasonings and continue cooking 1 minute.
  • Add canned tomatoes, vegetables broth and tortellinis. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce at low heat, partially cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until tortellinis are well cooked. Salt and pepper up to taste.
