Ingredients

  • 1,5 liter (6 cups) of chicken broth without added salt
  • 3 diced chicken breasts of 150 gr each
  • 1/2 package of 250 gr (1½ cup) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
  • 2 diced carrots
  • 1 minced celery branch
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) of orzo
  • 3 diced italian tomatoes
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of pesto
  • Few basil leaves

Preparation

  • In a casserole, bring to a boil broth at medium heat.
  • Add chicken, leeks, carrots and celery. Bring again to a boil. Cover and simmer 10 minutes at medium low heat.
  • Add orzo and tomatoes. Continue cooking for 8 to 10 more minutes.
  • When serving, add pesto and basil.
