Apples and strawberries crisp

  • 1 L (4 cups) of diced apples
  • 250 ml (1 cup) of strawberries
  • 170 ml (2/3 cup) of sugar
  • 250 ml (1 cup) of brown sugar
  • 170 ml (2/3 cup) of quick cooking oatmeal
  • 85 ml (1/3 cup) of all-purpose flour
  • 85 ml (1/3 cup) of melted butter
  • Cinnamon (up to taste)

  • Peel, seed and slice slimly apples.
  • Wash, drain and hull strawberries. Slice.
  • Lay down fruits in an oven safe plate well buttered. Add half of the sugar (so 1/3 cup) to the fruits. Cream the butter. Add brown sugar, flour, oatmeal, the other half of the sugar, and cinnamon. Spread down the preparation over fruits.
  • Oven bake at 350 °F (180 °C) for 40 minutes.
