Salad with Boston lettuce, strawberries and gorgonzola

  • 10 strawberries
  • 125 g of gorgonzola
  • 2 Boston lettuce
  • 80 ml (1/3 cup) of walnuts
  • For the vinaigrette :
  • 60 ml (¼ cup) of olive oil
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of lemon juice
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of chopped fresh mint
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of chopped fresh oregano
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of chopped garlic
  • Salt and pepper up to taste

  • In a large bowl, whisk all ingredients for the vinaigrette.
  • Slice strawberries into halfs. Dice gorgonzola. Set aside 4 large leaves of Boston lettuce and chopped remaining leaves.
  • Into the large bowl, set strawberries, chopped Boston lettuce and walnuts. Stir.
  • Set a Boston lettuce leaf into each plates. Divide strawberries salad and diced gorgonzola over leaves.
