Leeks pizza on BBQ

Pizza aux poireaux sur le BBQ

  • 60 ml (4 tablespoons) of olive oil
  • 1 package of 250 gr (3 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
  • 1 pizza dough of 10 to 12 inches
  • 175 ml (3/4 cup) of tomato sauce
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) of chopped walnuts
  • 1 package of goat cheese (5 oz/150 gr), sliced
  • 12 seeded black or green olives
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) of chopped fresh herbs (chive, basil and oregano)

  • Preheat BBQ at high heat.
  • Heat a large pan. Add olive oil and Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks. Brown for 5 minutes at medium heat. Season and set aside.
  • Set the dough. Lower BBQ heat at medium. Set dough over oiled BBQ grill. When cooked up to your taste remove the dough. (For about 5 minutes). Over grilled side, brush pizza dough with tomato sauce. Add leeks, goat cheese slices, seeded olives and walnuts.
  • Set back pizza on the BBQ, close its lid and heat for 5 minutes. Remove the pizza from BBQ, garnish with herbs and serve.
