Leeks guacamole and homemade tortillas chips
Ingredients
- 6 medium sized tortillas, slice into triangles
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of vegetable oil
- 2 chopped garlic cloves
- 1 package of 250 g (4 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
- 5 mature avocados
- Lime zest and juice
- Sambal oelek up to taste or few drops of tabasco
- Salt and pepper up to taste
- Preheat oven at 180 °C (350 °F). Set tortillas slices on a cookie sheet. Oven bake 15 minutes.
- In a casserole, heat oil with garlic and leeks at low heat. Cook and stir for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool down for 15 minutes.
- Slice avocados in two with a knife and remove core. With a spoon remove flesh off the peel and set into a bowl.
- With a fork, crush avocados flesh with lime juice and zest. It won't blackens this way. Add ingredients left and mix well. Salt and pepper.
