Melted Brie with leeks and dried fruits
Ingredients
- 1/2 package of 250 g (2 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of butter
- 1 ripe, peeled and diced pear
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) of peeled pistachios
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) of dried cranberries
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of finely chopped rosemary
- 1 Brie cheese or any soft paste cheese
- Preheat oven at 350°F (180°C).
- In a pan, fry sliced leeks in butter. Cook 2 minutes. Add diced pears, pistachios, cranberries and rosemary, cook 1 minute while stirring often.
- Set Brie cheese in an oven safe plate covered with aluminium paper or in a plate made exactly for this kind of cooking. Cover with leeks garnishing. Oven bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool down 5 minutes before serving.
- You may also prepare leeks garnishing beforehand. Can be refrigerated well until the next day.
