  • 1 package (3 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of olive oil
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of lemon juice
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of butter
  • 10 ml (2 teaspoons) of chopped fresh basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper
  • 250 ml (1 cup) of cheese for gratin up to your choice and taste
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 boneless chicken breasts

  • Preheat oven at 375 °F (190 °C).
  • Set sliced leeks at the bottom of a large buttered or oiled gratin plate.
  • Set few chunks of butter over leeks.
  • Salt, pepper and roast chicken breasts in a large pan at medium high heat, for about 3 to 5 minutes over each sides.
  • Set roasted chicken breasts in the gratin plate.
  • Cover chicken breasts with basil and cheese.
  • Oven bake 35 minutes or until chicken flesh loses its pink tint.

Chef's notes

Suggestion : It's possible to add sliced mushrooms over chicken before spreading cheese. You may replace breasts with boneless chicken tights.
