  • 8 leek's white of 10 cm (4 inches)
  • 8 slices of cooked ham
  • 250 ml (1 cup) of béchamel sauce of your choice
  • 7 ml (1 1/2 teaspoon) of Dijon's mustard
  • 250 gr (1/2 pound) of gruyere of cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper

  • Cook leeks with salted boiling water or chicken broth for about 15 minutes, then drain. Roll each leek's white with a slice of cooked ham.
  • Set in a gratin plate. Prepare béchamel sauce, add Dijon's mustard and season up to your taste.
  • Coat leeks with sauce.
  • Spread cheese over leeks.
  • Oven bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30 minutes.
