500 ml (2 cups) of macaronis pastas
30 ml (2 tablespoons) of butter
15 ml (1 tablespoon) of olive oil
1 package of 250 g (3 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
1 chopped garlic cloves
45 ml (3 tablespoons) of flour
1 whisked egg
190 ml (3/4 cup) of milk
225 gr (1/2 pound) of grated medium Cheddar cheese
225 gr (1/2 pound) of grated Mozzarella cheese
125 ml (1/2 cup) of grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper up to taste
5 ml (1 teaspoon) of turmeric
125 ml (1/2 cup) of Italian or regular breadcrumbs

Preparation
Preheat oven at 350 °F (180 °C).
Cook macaronis with package instrcutions. Set aside 125 ml (1/2 cup) of cooking water.
In a large casserole, melt butter into oil, add minced leeks and garlic and brown for 1 minute. Add flour and mix well, cook 30 seconds. Add cooking water and mix well.
In a bowl, mix whisked egg with milk, add cheeses, season with salt, pepper and turmeric, mix well and add to the leeks mixture.
Add macaronis and mix well. Pour into 4 cocottes well buttered and spread with breadcrumbs. Oven bake for 20 minutes.
