Ingredients

  • 625 ml (2 1/2 cups) of blueberries
  • 500 ml (2 cups) of flour
  • 315 ml (1 1/4 cup) of sugar
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of baking powder
  • 2 ml (1/2 teaspoon) of salt
  • 2 ml (1/2 teaspoon) of slt 125 ml (1/2 cup) of margarine
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of vanilla
  • 190 ml (3/4 cup) of milk
  • 2 eggs

Preparation

  • Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Add soft margarine, vanilla and milk. Scramble all and add eggs. Pour half paste in a square plate and grease.
  • Add blueberries and spread with sugar (optional). Finally, add rest of paste over blueberries.
  • Oven bake at 350 ºF (180 ºC) for at least an hour or until it browns.
  • Sting with a fork to verify baking.
