Ingredients
1 minced carrot
¼ package of 250 g of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
1 liter (4 cups) of beef consommé
125 ml (½ cup) of orzo
45 ml (3 tablespoons) of red porto
15 ml (1 tablespoon) of butter
1 minced onion
1 branch of minced celery
1 stem of thyme (optional)
1 stem of rosemary (optional)
1 Bay leaf (optional)

Preparation
In a casserole, melt butter at medium heat. Roast carrot and onion. Add celery, leeks, and, if desired, thyme, rosemary and Bay leaf. Salt and pepper.
Pour beef consommé. Bring to a boil. Simmer 20 minutes at medium heat while skimming from time to time.
Filter the preparation above a casserole. Add orzo. Bring to a boil and cook 7 minutes.
Add porto.
