Chicken skewers with leeks

  • 300 gr (3/4 pound) of cubed chicken
  • 2 leeks sliced in rings (1/2 inch)
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of sugar
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of soy sauce
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of sesame oil
  • Sauce :
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of soy sauce
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of sugar
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of chopped garlic
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of sesame seeds
  • 20 ml (4 teaspoons) of sesame oil
  • Pepper up to taste

  • Marinate chicken and leeks in sugar, soy sauce and sesame oil for 15 minutes. Skewer chicken and alternate with leeks. Soak in sauce and grill for about 15 minutes spraying with sauce.
  • To broil :
  • It's important to marinate meats or oiled it before oven bake. Broil. Set meats near the broil. let the door mid-open (close it if you have an oven with gaz). Broil, turn, oil et broil... till obtaining desired degree of cooking.
