Ingredients

  • 1 whisked egg
  • 1/2 bar of 100g of orange flavored chocolate
  • 12 minced strawberries
  • 180 ml (3/4 cup) of 35% whipping cream
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of strawberries jelly powder
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) of melted butter
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) of sugar
  • 375 ml (1 1/2 cup) of flour
  • 10 ml (2 teaspoons) of lemon zest (optional)
  • 4 mint leaves (optional)

Preparation

Side-by-side mode
  • Inside a blender, mix butter with sugar for 30 seconds. Add egg then flour and mix until obtaining a ball of dough. Refrigerate 1 hour.
  • Preheat oven at 180 C (350 F)
  • Lower the dough over a floured surface. Divide the dough inside six tartlets mold of about 10 cm (4 inches) of diameter and prick the bottom with a fork. Oven bake for 15 to 18 minutes. Unmold.
  • Melt chocolate and divide into tartlets. Cool down then garnish with strawberries.
  • With an electric blender whip the cream until obtaining firm pikes. Add powder for the jelly and, if desired, the zests. Mix it up.
  • Garnish tartlets with perfumed cream and, if desired, add mint leaves for decoration.
