Salmon en papillote with leeks

  • 4 salmon filets, 125 gr each
  • 1 pakage (3 cups) Les Cultures de Chez Nous sliced leeks
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) honey or maple syrup
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp.) chopped ginger
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves, chopped
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) sesame oil
  • Juice and zest of 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Preheat the BBQ to high.
  • Prepare 4 large pieces of aluminum foil and place a salmon filet on each one. Set aside. Mix the leeks and other ingredients in a large bowl and spread over the salmon filets. Fold the aluminum foil closed (papillote) over each piece of salmon. Reduce the BBQ temperature to medium and cook the papillotes for about 12 to 15 minutes.
  • Serve with an asparagus salad or grilled vegetables.
