Ingredients

  • 454 gr (1 pound) cubed veal
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp.) peanut oil
  • Pepper to taste
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) Tamari sauce
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) prepared pure orange juice with pulp
  • 500 ml (2 cups) white mushrooms, quartered
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp.) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 package of sliced leeks Les Cultures de chez nous
  • 500 ml (2 cups) cooked vermicelli rice
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) sugar
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) cold water

Preparation

  • Heat oil in a wok, add veal cubes and pepper and sear over high heat. In a small pan, caramelize sugar and water and pour over veal cubes. Add Tamari sauce and orange juice, mix well and cook 4 to 5 minutes. Set aside. Drizzle oils into the wok, sauté the mushrooms, sprinkle with lemon juice and add sliced leeks. Cook 1 to 2 minutes.
