Ingredients

  • 500 ml (2 cups) penne
  • One 250 gr package (3 cups) of sliced leeks Les Cultures de chez nous
  • 250 ml ( 1 cup) goat cheese
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) 15 % old-fashioned cream
  • 125 gr (4 ounces) Parma ham
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) lemon juice
  • Fresh basil as needed
  • Butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Boil well-salted water in a deep pot. Add penne and cook 8 to 10 minutes. Melt butter in a pan, brown the Parma ham, diced. Add leeks and brown gently 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Add lemon juice, chopped basil, salt and pepper. Stir in crumbled goat cheese and cream. Mix and cook 3 to 4 minutes, to desired consistency. Drain pasta and sauté in the sauce. Serve.
