Ingredients

  • 6 leeks Les Cultures de chez nous
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp.) honey
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp.) grated Parmesan cheese
  • Juice from ½ lemon
  • Dash of nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper
  • Lemon segments

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut off green parts from leeks. Cut white parts in 1 ½ in. pieces and place in a bowl with cold water. Soak 20 minutes.
  • Drain leeks and put in au-gratin dish. Cover them barely with cold water. Add honey, lemon juice, nutmeg, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil over medium heat and simmer 5 minutes. Do not cover.
  • Put in the oven and cook 30 minutes, uncovered. Put leeks in a serving dish, sprinkle with Parmesan. Serve with lemon segments.
