Ingredients

  • For porridge:
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of melted butter
  • 500 ml (2 cups) of soy, vanila or milk beverage
  • 3 eggs
  • 500 ml (2 cups) of quick cooking porridge
  • 180 ml (3/4 cup) of brown sugar
  • 80 ml (1/3 cup) of minced almonds
  • 80 ml (1/3 cup) of pecans into chunks
  • For garnishing:
  • 373 ml (1 1/2 cup) of raspberries
  • Maple syrup up to taste

Preparation

  • Prehat oven at 180 ºC (350 ºF).
  • Butter a square plate of 20 cm (8 inches).
  • In a large bowl, whisk soy beverage with eggs. Add all porridge ingredients left. Stir well and pour in the plate.
  • Oven bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and cool down. Serve with raspberries and syrup.

In-between a muffin and a warm porrdge bowl, this version is quickly made and offers great compromise which will please every buds. Sustaining , this new kind of porridge with eegs and nuts can be garnished up to your taste (fruits, maple syrup, yogurt...). You have guest? Prepare it into individual ramekins and time 25 minutes to oven bake.
