Ingredients

  • 1 package of 250 gr (3 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
  • 1 package of 250 gr of chopped ham
  • 12 dough tubes, cannellonis type
  • 1 1/2 container of 400 ml of tomato and herbs sauce
  • 375 ml (1 1/2 cup) of grated Mozzarella cheese
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoon) of butter
  • 1 whisked egg
  • 45 ml (3 tablespoons) of fresh finely chopped basil

Preparation

  • Preheat oven at 400 °F (205 °C). In a pan, heat butter at medium heat. Cook leeks for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool down.
  • Add the egg, ham, and, if wanted, basil. Salt and pepper. Stir. Stuff tubes with the preparation. In a gratin style plate of 33 cm x 23 cm (13 inch x 9 inch), pour half of the tomato sauce and lay the cannellonis. cover with the rest of the tomato sauce and the Mozzarella.
  • Cover with an aluminium sheets and oven bake for 25 to 30 minutes. At mid-cooking, remove aluminium sheets from the plate.
