• 500 gr (1 pound) of ready asparagus
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of olive oil
  • Salt, up to taste
  • 1 lemon, in quarters

  • Preheat oven at 450 °F (230 °C).
  • Lay down asparagus on a baking plate covered with parchment paper. Spray with olive oil and well mix it all. Display asparagus and salt.
  • In the oven, bake for about 10 minutes (returning to mid-cooking) or till asparagus gets tender (but still firm) and well colored.
  • Serves right away and spray with freshly squeezed lemon juice or with balsamic vinegar.
