Ingredients

  • 25 asparagus
  • 1 big orange
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) of olive oil
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of orange juice or grapefruits juice
  • 4 ml (4 gr) of balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper, up to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat oven at 450 °F (225 °C).
  • Peel orange and slice in rings.
  • Put oils at the bottoms of a cookie sheet and lay on it asparagus side by side. Rolls to well cover with oil.
  • Salt and pepper asparagus then put in the oven for aproximatively 10 minutes turning them halfway through baking. Times of baking can change based on the asparagus size.
  • Mix in a small bowl remains of oil, orange juice and balsamic vinegar.
  • Put asparagus in a serving plate, pour sauce and sprinkle with orange slices.
