• 500 g (1 pound) of asparagus
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of sesame oil
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of soy sauce
  • Orange zest, finely grated

  • Fill with water a large casserole. Salt and bring to a boil. broke and trow the woody end of asparagus. Soak asparagus in water and cook uncovered till it gets tender, but still crispy, so about 4 minutes.
  • Pour oil, soy sauce and orange zest in a small bowl. Whisk till homogenisation. then drain asparagus. Mop it up and serves in serving plate or individual dishes.
  • Spray with sauce and pepper.
